The way I treat differs than standard physical therapy. Traditional physical therapy is driven by insurance companies and their reimbursement rates. Clinicians are limited in the amount of time they can spend with you and the types of services they can provide.​ Research shows that early intervention are crucial in mitigating long-term injury and returning to your daily life quickly and efficiently.

In my practice, I take a holistic approach considering lifestyle factors, personal and familial history, and nutrition to get to the root cause of the issue and help you return to doing what you love.

Psychologist Session

Free Consultation

This free 15 minute consultation call will give both of us the opportunity to briefly discuss your current situation. In this call you will: 

  • Be able to ask questions about your condition

  • Receive immediate feedback and recommendations on simple changes you can start implementing today

  • Learn if physical therapy, wellness, or strength training sessions are right for you

This call has no strings attached. You will not be pressured to sign up for further sessions. You can take the information you learn, implement it, and be on your way, or you can choose to sign up for a full initial evaluation.

Initial Evaluation

The purpose of the initial evaluation is to take a deeper dive into the topics we discussed on your consultation call.

During the initial assessment we will: 

  • Take a deep dive into your personal and familial history of illness

  • Discuss your lifestyle habits including exercise, nutrition, sleep 

  • Perform a thorough movement and strength assessment and talk about my recommendations for improvement

  • Discuss exercises, stretching, and mobility exercises that you can begin implementing right away to feel better

  • Other lifestyle or environmental modifications you can make (including work setup, sleeping position, frequency/intensity of workouts, nutrition etc) to help you reach your goals 

Many people feel satisfied by the information they learn during this initial assessment and do not need any follow ups. However, if we decide that you would benefit from further care, follow-up sessions are available

Follow-up Visits

Follow up sessions are on an as-needed basis based on your goals and the extent to which you need modification of your program or supervision with activities. These follow-up visits can vary based on what we decide you need most at that time. Some of the formats they can take are:

  • Discussion of your progress and modifications to your program as you progress. 

  • Adding intensity, frequency, or duration of your workout sessions to progress strength, mobility, and range of motion

  • Monitoring a workout session with cueing for proper form, exercise prescription, and other principles of progressive overload

  • Recommendations for further lifestyle and environmental modifications
